Advocacy and Community Education

Many families have become highly frustrated while trying to determine 
how to get needed support services for their children. They feel like 
they are all alone and the system for providing services for the 
children is broken beyond repair.

The Noah’s Ark organization has developed many exceptional 
one-on-one relationships with special education educators, other 
social service providers, representatives from the Department of 
Children and Families and other parent groups. These relationships 
have been built on a foundation of mutual respect and trust and 
frequently result in referrals of families in need to Noah’s Ark. These 
families have been told that the Noah’s Ark organization will help them 
connect to proper agencies and teach them how to navigate the red 
tape of the system.
