What activities & transportation options are available to residents and cost?
The Lifestyle Enrichment Fee is an optional payment and funds staff, transportation, activities & discount prices on meals. Its function and purpose is shared during tours, interviews and/or when signing the resident services agreement around lease signing.
The following outlines the various offerings to Noah’s Ark residents and members:
LURA (Land Use Restriction Agreement) – determines what is included in Noah’s Landing apartment rent – no monthly or annual fee required, includes:
o Resident Services Coordinator
o Some community based events
o Community vans (Citrus Connect)
o Public bus transportation (City bus)
o Assistance from Resident Services Coordinator with applying for services, food stamps, employment services
Lifestyle Enrichment Fee (LEF) – The Lifestyle Enrichment Fee is an optional payment and funds staff, transportation, activities & discount prices on meals. LEF is available to residents of Noah’s Landing – monthly fee of $235.00, and supports expenses includes:
o 100% of LEA-related staff salaries (e.g. Receptionist, Activities Coordinator & Drivers), and approximately 75% of the Executive Director, Finance Manager, and Operations Manager
o Noah’s Ark transportation to off-site activities, grocery shopping etc.
o Insurance, maintenance and reporting compliance for Noah’s Ark vans
o Overhead expenses (supplies, phones, etc.)
o Reduced meal rate
o LEA-related activities
LEF Lite – available to Noah’s Nest & Melody Lane residents – monthly fee of $125.00
o Access to all LEA activities, meals discount, and transportation that originates and ends at the Landing
Resident of a Noah’s Ark Community – i.e. Noah’s Landing,, Noah’s Nest, Melody Lane – no monthly or annual fee required
o Access to bowling, basketball, yoga, golf, fun center & holiday parties (excludes transportation)
General Membership of Noah’s Ark – open to all – annual fee required
o Access to bowling, basketball, yoga, golf, fun center & holiday parties (excludes transportation), vote at annual board of directors election
