Noah’s Ark Receives $10,000 Grant from Bert W Martin Foundation

We are delighted to announce that Noah’s Ark of Central Florida, Inc. has received a $10,000 grant from The Bert W. Martin Foundation.

Bert W. Martin was born in Chicago on October 12, 1897. An industrialist, philanthropist and visionary, Bert started a successful printing and packaging company in Ohio.  In 1948 Bert started the foundation to provide services to those in need in his community. As the chair of the foundation for many years, Bert’s daughter Wynee Warden continued the family support of healthcare upon her move to Central Florida.

The Bert W. Martin Foundation has been a generous supporter of pediatric health care, the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women and a variety of educational programs and initiatives.

Through Past Vice President Jim Maynard’s personal connection with one of the foundation’s family members; he and Susan Harding met with Andy Warden and his daughter Taylor Bousfield earlier this year.   They toured the The Villages at Noah’s Landing and enjoyed learning about Noah’s Ark, our communities and residents.

The funds will be used to install a permanent music system in the Clubhouse and replacing or updating worn furnishings.
