Opening Ceremony – June 27 2019

Henry Turner met a number of Noah’s Landing residents during Special Olympics activities at Highland Park Church.  He saw that our residents loved to play Bocce and how much being a part of the Special Olympics events meant to each of them.  Henry approached Noah’s Ark and offered to bring along a team from Esterline Landscape to build the residents a Bocce court of their own!!

Brett and his team started work on June 6th and four courts were quickly completed.

We held an opening ceremony where Executive Director, Falon Alo along with Henry, his fiancé Debbie & Brett from Esterline Landscape officially opened the courts for play. Our residents are thrilled with their new courts and look forward to spending time together and practicing for their Special Olympics events…
