April is Autism Awareness Month

Rockin’ On The River is the product of John Straughn’s wish to bring attention to those on the autism spectrum and people with disabilities. He brainstormed an event that would bring together a weekend of music and fun while benefiting an awareness very close to his heart. In 2015, his wish became a reality and the first ROTR event was an instant success!  Staff, volunteers and members of Noah’s Ark attended this year’s event, setting up a table with information to help spread the word. Amy Rothman, one of our residents, entertained the crowds with her singing.
